Where Pinterest downloads go on your phone

Find downloaded files in Android and iPhone browsers.

After choosing Download file, check the browser’s download indicator. Fetching the source can take a few seconds; preparing HLS video can take longer.

On Android, check your browser’s Downloads menu or the Download folder in your file manager. The exact location depends on the browser and device settings.

On iPhone, check Safari’s download menu and the Downloads location in Files. After opening the file, you may be able to use the share menu to save it to Photos when that option is available.

A file missing from Photos or Gallery may still have downloaded successfully. Check the file manager first. Formats such as WebP, or a video’s codec, may not open the same way in every application.
