Download a Pinterest video as MP4

A practical guide to video previews, direct MP4 files and HLS sources.

Choose Videos and submit a Pin link. When a video is accessible, the results show a player, dimensions and an MP4 download button. Use the player to check the content.

If direct MP4 files exist, the highest resolution available option is preferred. For an HLS-only source, supported completed and unencrypted video segments are joined into an MP4 file. This does not re-encode the video or upscale its quality.

Preparing HLS can take longer than a direct MP4 download. The prepared file is stored temporarily for the result session. Encrypted streams, live streams and sources requiring a separate external audio playlist are not supported.

Each file is limited to 120 MB. Videos hosted on a different site or Pins that are not publicly accessible may be unavailable. A cover image cannot be used to recreate a missing video.
